Since the 60s, a total of 10 production plants have been built in Germany and Belgium. Over and above this, other companies join the ranks of the Hormann Group: Schorghuber GmbH, Ampfing (Germany), manufacturer of high-grade timber doors, Berner Torantriebe GmbH, Rottenburg (Germany), manufacturer of garage door operators, Seuster KG, Ludenscheid (Germany), Dyna Seal, Alkmaar (The Netherlands) manufacturer of loading bay systems, Tubauto SAS, Sens, and Garador Holdings Ltd., Yeovil, leading manufacturers of one-piece garage doors in France and Great Britain. Since 2000 Hormann doors for residential and commercial applications have been produced in Beijing, China, by the Hormann Beijing Door Production Co. Ltd. In 2002 Hormann started its sales company and manufacturing plant in Tennessee, USA. Expanding the US business in 2006, Hormann bought GADCO, General American Door Company and merged it with Hormann Inc. to form Hormann Gadco LLC.
