Model
DJ is an industrial-duty jackshaft operator with an
internal door lock sensor. It features a removable
hinged electrical box cover, a continuous-duty
high-starting torque motor, industrial ball bearings on
the output shaft and a universal-mount frame
design.

Added Value Built-in 3-channel,
315MHz radio receiver accepts up to 23 Security+ or

self-diagnostic system that allows you to troubleshoot

station for open/close functions is standard with D or

2-Position Keylock (flush mount):
Ideal for use with the DJ operator. Provides open/close

LGO - Light-Duty Grille Jackshaft

LGO is a light-duty grille jackshaft operator. It
features a compact design, a high-starting torque motor,
an internal door lock sensor and a floor level
disconnect, which is ideal for emergency
egress.

HP, 115V, single-phase motor with instant reverse and
automatic reset thermal overload.
Door Lock Sensor: The adjustable
Door Lock Sensor can detect if the door lock is engaged
and will stop the operator eliminating jamming and
damage to the door or operator. There is no longer any
need for wiring guide-mounted interlocks.
Wormgear System: LiftMaster's
reliable Wormgear System is utilized as the primary
level of reduction |
for the LGO. For a long cycle life, gearing is
pre-lubed at the factory with high-performance
grease.
Floor Level Disconnect: Floor level
disconnect provides emergency manual operation.
Wiring Type: B2 or D1 wiring types
are available. B2 wiring comes standard and is pre-wired
to accept photo eyes. This provides for momentary
contact to close with a 3-button control station
(included). D1 wiring is easily programmed and is
designed to accept the contact optional 2-button control

Door Lock Sensing Circuit: The Model
LGJ includes a speed sensor in the electrical enclosure
and a sensing circuit which sends a signal to stop the
motor if the door jams, such as would be caused by
failure to release the lockbar of a rolling grille
before starting the operator. In addition to stopping
the motor, if the door or grille is in fully closed
position, it will drive the motor in the opposite
direction for approximately 1 inch of door travel. This
releases the pressure on the lockbar thus allowing the
lock to be easily opened.

high-cycle capacity, a compact design, requires no
chaines or sprockets on sectional doors, handles tough
environmental conditions and includes a dynamic
brake.

protection. Available in1/2 HP (375W); single phase.
Capacitor start and three phase motors. Removable
without affecting limit switch settings.
Drive Reduction: 45:1 sealed gear
reducer with internal clutch system. "Through-Shaft"
reducer design allows operator to be directly mounted
onto the 1" torsion shaft of sectional doors, for an
approximate door speed of 12"/second. Optional reduction
shaft is required for use on rolling doors

or sectional door to provide an approximate door
speed of 8-9" per second.
Emergency Manual Operation: Model
EGJ provides easy manual operation upon activation of
the floor level disconnect.
Wiring Type: C2 wiring is standard,
B2 is easily selected providing momentary contact to
OPEN/CLOSE and STOP with open override. The operator is
pre-wired to accept a sensing edge, photoelectric
control, radio controls and most types of access control
equipment.
Operator/Motor Control:
Across-the-line type, size "0" contactor motor
switching, mechanically interlocked (NEMA 4
enclosure).
